Sorry for the late update. I have been working hard on other aspects of the challenge.
So to update so far. I now finalised two routes to take me around mainland Britain. This was no easy task and took me well over a week. the next stage of the route planning is to break each leg down into smaller stretches. These stretches will be made up of compass bearings to prominent land marks along the coast like headlands, lighthouses and such like. the reason for this is to make sure I stay on the correct bearings for the entire leg. so they will be like check markers for my progress between each leg.
The challenge team is also coming together well.
Simon Everette. Team Manager.
Sue Grundy. PR/ Sponsorship
Will Cole Weather and Tides.

I am still looking for a number of people to fill a couple of slots. Im looking for someone who can oversee the on the ground fundraising. A logistics manager. this person will try to arrange camp sites, food replenishments and such like.
The fitness training is on track and going well thanks to Andy Silvey at ANDALI FITNESS who has wrote me a personal training and nutrition plan.
The kayak that has been loaned to me from KayakUK has been shipped from South Africa and should be with me this month. the kayak they have loaned me for the challenge is a Kaskazi Pelican. This is the expedition version of their very popular fishing Kayak the Kaskazi Marlin. once again a huge thanks to these guys for having the faith in me to complete the challenge.
The Virgin just giving page is up and running and i have already received some sponsorship.http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/KayakChallenge
